This podcast examines the reality of Shiite women in Lebanon from being primarily associated with family and economy to their engagement in learning, education, and various cultural, scientific, and literary fields. It also explores their later involvement in political and social movements and their essential role in various movements, especially during the emergence of leftist parties. It addresses the reality of Shiite women within parties or in executive, legislative, and local authorities during the rise of the Amal Movement and Hezbollah, ending with the oppression faced by Shiite women under the shadow of the Jaafari courts in Lebanon.
