A month following the assassination of Lokman Slim, an active and founding member of the Forum Memory and Future, the Forum in collaboration with the Institute of Political Science at Saint Joseph University launches a series of webinars to honor his memory, preserve his legacy and look into this criminal pattern of which Lebanon is regularly victim.

These political assassinations that heavily impact the future of the country and its society are a legacy of the country's violent past and a manifestation of its violent present. Dealing with the Past in Lebanon is essential to prevent the reopening of past wounds fueling retaliation, and it promotes opportunities for genuine reconciliation and ensures justice for individuals and society as a whole.

Join us on Thursday, March 4, 2021, 7:00 PM (Beirut time) to participate in an online discussion on "The Anatomy of Political Crimes in Lebanon: A Criminal Pattern."
