As part of its Most Welcome? Lebanon Through Its Refugees initiative, UMAM D&R supported the 3rd and 4th editions of the Karama Beirut Human Rights Film Festival. The festivals featured a large variety of films focusing on issues such as human rights, refugees, and racism, and exposed a diverse audience to some of the topics UMAM D&R has been working on throught its work on refugeeism and asylum advocacy. In addition to introducing attendees to new dimensions of these topics, the festival helped create social connections for future collaboration and conversation.
